Ascot scarf

Between dancing/solfege lessons

and a birthday party, I finished

 an "Ascot scarf" for my daughter today.

 

I attached a fabric Christmas button.

The bright color looks so nice on her brown skin.

 



 

It was really easy to knit.

Perhaps I am going to make another

 one for myself.

Knitting to stay sane

Keeping up with homework in Luxembourg

with a 1st and a 3rd grader is tough.

We speak Luxembourgish and Dutch at home

and they learn French and German at school.

Especially French is so difficult at this young age.

Sometimes there are tears (theirs and mine).

 

A knitting project on my needles

makes it so much easier to keep my patience.
