Every year in March or April I feel the urgent need to declutter the house. It makes my head empty and I have more space for other things.
Yesterday I started with my books. I love reading (although I don't have much time left since the kids moved in), however, the only library I know of is in Luxembourg-city and that is too far away. This means that I have bought quite a lot of books over the years. Last year I decided that it was too much and I already sold or gave away half of my collection. This time only very special books are allowed to stay: my favourite ones, books that I want to read one more time, books given to me by a special person, books that remind me of a special occasion and of course the ones I didn't read yet. I have 2 book cases full and I hope to reduce this to one.
This morning I also started sorting out all our clothes, and this is the result: 3 large garbage bags full. So please let the summer come!
