Today is my son's 5th birthday. We are so grateful and happy that he is part of our family. We love him all so much. On days like this, my heart goes out to his birth parents in Africa. What does it feel like, giving a child you cannot take care of up for adoption? I can only imagine what it must be like.
But today is a happy day! I have spent the entire afternoon baking for school and if anyone says the word "cupcake" again I am going to SCREAM!!
I think they turned out kind of cute.
