The city of Luxembourg

Today was a sunny day and we decided to go to the beautiful old city of Luxembourg. We hadn't been there for quite a while. The history of the city goes back to the year 963! The views from the ancient walls are breathtaking.


















The text "Mir wölle bleiwe wat mir sin" (we want to remain who we are) goes back to World War II when Germany aimed to incorporate Luxembourg into the German Reich.

And then we had a walk around the Saturday morning market.
