Fueskichelcher

Real Luxembourgers make "Fueskichelcher" this time of year, and because my husband is the only real 100% Luxembourger in this family, it's a tradition that he makes them. "Fues" comes from "Fuesend" which means "Carnival" and "Kichelcher" means "cookies". The cookies on the photo are called "Knied" which means "knots". The dough is cut into stripes and tied into a knot.
They are pan-fried and taste yummy.
